Here are some of our more frequently asked questions and answers to help you navigate Hunahpu’s Day® 2019.

  1. What is Hunahpu’s Day®?
    Hunahpu’s Day® is a one-day celebration of Cigar City Brewing’s Hunahpu’s® Imperial Stout. More than 150 of the world’s finest breweries travel to Tampa to sample out their finest and rarest offerings in unlimited 2 ounce pours. Bottles of Hunahpu’s® Imperial Stout, a commemorative tasting glass, food, entertainment and camaraderie are all included in the cost of your ticket.
  2. Where do I pick up my bottles for Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    Please note, bottle pick up is NOT at the festival site. All bottles are available just down the road from the site at the brewery on Spruce Street beginning March 1st – March 11th from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Please note, we WILL NOT ship and we WILL NOT hold your bottles past this date. Any bottles left will be forfeited as of March 12th. You will need your actual Cigar City Brewing’s Hunahpu’s Day® wristband to pick up your allotment as these will be scanned and bottles credited off of each wristband.
  3. Where is Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    Hunahpu’s Day® 2019 is located the same location as last year, right down the street from the brewery at Raymond James Stadium 4201 N Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, FL. The festival is taking place in lots 5 & 7, just south of the stadium.
  4. Where do I park for Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    Even though there will be cash parking just adjacent to the festival site accessible from Himes Ave, we strongly encourage everybody to take an Uber, Lyft, taxi, hotel shuttle, or ride share to the festival.
  5. What time should I arrive to Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    We will begin checking IDs and scanning wristbands starting at 10 a.m. Doors are at 11 a.m.
  6. What should I bring to Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    You can bring:
    • A water bottle, which can be clear and filled with water, or opaque and empty
    • A Camelbak which must also be empty
    • Sunscreen
    • Snacks which must fit in a one gallon sized CLEAR plastic bag
  7. What is the bag policy for Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    This will be the same as the NFL bag policy:
    Clear bag no bigger than 12” x 6” x 12” or a clear one gallon sized freezer bag
    OR
    A woman’s clutch no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”
  8. What can I not bring to Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    • Bags & cases not approved in accordance with the NFL bag policy
    • Beer
    • Cans & bottles
    • Coolers
    • Fireworks
    • Glass
    • Illegal drugs
    • Pets
    • Children
    • Lawn/camping chairs or seat cushions

  9. What if I bring a prohibited item to Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    The Tampa Sports Authority will have lockers available for rent (there will be a charge) to keep your prohibited items safe and sound during the festival.
  10. What will I need to enter the Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    All guests must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid a US driver’s license, military ID or passport to gain entrance to the festival. The only non-US issued identification that will be accepted will be a passport.
    You must also have your 2019 Hunahpu’s Day® wristband which must be activated.
  11. What can I do to get ready for Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    REGISTER your wristband! You absolutely must activate and register your wristband prior to arriving at the festival.

  12. What if I have an International shipping address?
    If you provided an shipping address outside of the United States, your wristband will be waiting for you at the will call tent at the festival grounds.
  13. Should I bring cash to Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    Aside from if you are parking a vehicle or using a locker, the entire event is cashless. If you want to grab any merchandise at the event, you will need to use a credit card.
  14. What time does Hunahpu’s Day® 2019 official start?
    Although we will begin to scan IDs as early as 10 a.m., the festival does not start until 11 a.m. At 11 a.m. the doors will open and you will have access to hundreds of rare, exciting, and world class beers from all over the globe.
  15. How long is Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    The festival lasts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a very last call for alcohol at 3:45 p.m.
  16. Can I leave and re-enter Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    Hunahpu’s Day® is a no re-entry festival. Once you are in, you are in. Once you are out, you are out.
  17. Will there be food at Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    After getting your ID checked and your wristband scanned, you will receive a Hunahpu’s Day® 2019 acrylic tasting glass and FOUR (4) tickets for tapas sized meals from more than 15 different local food trucks. No food will be sold at the event, your food truck tickets will keep you fed.
  18. Where do I go to enter Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    The only entrance and exit to Hunahpu’s Day® 2019 are right off of Tampa Bay Blvd. Look for the Hunahpu’s Day® Fest Entry flags help you get in and out of the festival.
  19. What happens if it rains at Hunahpu’s Day® 2019?
    As always, Hunahpu’s Day® 2019 is a rain or shine event.
